Work in progress
I’m excited to share a peek at the direction of a new series of paintings I’ve started that builds on the 'Disappearing New York' theme that I previously created on paper with watercolor and ink. As requested, the new paintings will be generally larger, and consist primarily of oil paint, ink and charcoal, and painted on a 3/4” and 1 1/2” cradled wood board which can be hung immediately or framed.
I will also be continuing my previous series of watercolor paintings on rag paper..
If you have a suggestion for locations that are on the verge of extinction or just have sentimental or architectural value, please email me your ideas.
Currently considering paintings of:
Block Drug Stores
Landmark Coffee Shop
LaRosa & Son Bread Co.
David Gage String Instrument Repair
American Society of Buddhist Studies
J. Baczynski Meat Market
Plus redux versions of The Square Diner and The Odeon..
